All of our Cast Iron Calibration Weights comply with regulations set out by the International Organization of Legal Metrology and ASTM norms for Class M1 to M3 cast -iron weights.
When required independent certification can be provided under any accreditation.
Bar or Hand Weights are supplied finished in high quality Matt Black Etch Primer and calibrated to a variety of tolerances which you can view in our chart.

We use ductile iron instead of grey iron to ensure a soft and smooth surface to resist abrasions and debris
We also paint the cavity from the inside to prevent any humidity leakage.

Each Weight has its own adjustment cavity at the top or on the side of the weight.

Application
Cast -iron weights are used to calibrate weight scale systems of various levels of accuracy depending on the use and requirements.
Cast iron test weights are usually used to calibrate scales with readability of 1g, and to calibrate heavy capacity scales and weighbridges.
